Hi guys. I have a problem. My Pi3 does not shut down. Also when I rebooted first time after the file was set up, it performed just normal reboot. I did not have chance to reboot with button as is described in set up video. when I tried to press button to shut down, button only starting to blink, but Pi does not shut down. I can only power on my Pi with button. Can you help me please? It looks like my script doese not run. I am running Linux Kali on my Pi.

Looks like the script is in the right place.
I am not familiar with Kali, but if rc.local does not run you will need to find out another way to run the shutdowncheck.sh script at startup.
At end of boot this script will output a message that shows it is running.
You also have to make sure the wiring to the Pi is correct and corresponds to what the script expects.
The operation is shown in the atxraspi guide page. For reboot you press the button for half a second, then status LED blinks and waits for Pi to reboot. For shutdown you have to hold button for at least 3 seconds - it starts to PULSE, and waits for Pi to shutdown before it cuts power off.

I think that is wired corect. I will try other way to run the script. Looks like rc.local does not do the job.

I tried to run script manually but still nothing. No response by ATX.

I think you need to review the demo video to understand how the board actually works.
In short, once you run the script, the board GREEN LED should turn ON, and ATXRaspi is ready to issue shutdown/reboot commands.
