Minimal consumption & 3.7V operation
« on: September 04, 2015, 10:08:22 PM »
Hi,

I want to use this board to control an Adafruit Powerboost 1000C, that means I need it to get 3.7V/5V input from LIpo/Charger (Vsh pin) and connect it to Enable Pin (high=enabled). If enable pin goes to Gnd it shuts down. I'm not sure if it will work.

Another question is: does this board consumes any juice while Raspberry Pi is powered down?

thanks,
Guilherme

Not sure what you mean by Enable pin. There is BootOK which is an input and Shutdown which is an output. There is the BTN input also which triggers a command (reboot or Shutdown).
How this all works is clearly explained in this video:

While off, ATXRaspi will use somewhere between 10-20mA.
