Title: Changing the way the pi shutdown
Post by: sander2506 on January 13, 2016, 04:00:30 AM
Is it possible to change the script so when u press the button for 1-3 sec it will power off.
and when pressed longer than 3 sec. it will reboot?

I have a nintendo switch to turn the pi on and off.

Yes but to match those exact timings I'm afraid it would require a firmware change in the ATXRaspi.

the timing isn't that important.
to switch the reset and the power off in the script that wold be nice.

You can do that if you want to do some atttiny coding, there is an ISP programmer header on the board. You will just need to determine the pins, unfortunately I don't have a schematic or code to share but should be pretty straight forward if you've done it before.
