RFM69 - witch one

Hi there all,
I must choose a RFM69xxx in order to begin a project
but I don't now witch one to choose.

I must communicate from a Moteino to a Raspberry on the 433Mhz at distance of about 80-90 meters

Anyone can help me to choose please ?

That isn't a long enough distance to require the high powered version so I would tend towards the lowered powered ones for longer battery life assuming this is a battery powered project.  I like the C better since it is smaller.  My overall preference is the RFM69CW.

Sorry on a Moteino.  I don't think Felix offers the C's to just go for an RFM69W.  It has plenty of range to communicate across 90 meters.

No ... there will be not battery on the project.

So can I choose the RFM69HCW one ?

Felix doesn't offer the C versions on Moteinos so you really only have to choose between the RFM69W and RFM69HW.  If you are not on battery power, you might as well get the HW which gives you more transmit power and a massive range of 1.4km with the right settings.

You're welcome.  I didn't realize that the C's were an option on any Moteinos but I see that this was added at some point.

The library will work perfectly fine with any RFM69xxx radio.  No worries there.
