ceramic antenna design for rfm69
« on: December 09, 2017, 06:30:50 AM »
Hi,

For my home automation, I currently use an hand-held remote control device based on Moteineo and RFM69W 433 MHz.
It works fine, beside the fact that the RF coverage range is very limited (less than 10 meters) due to the confined space the antenna (basically coil type).

I expect to improve this design using a ceramic (chip) antenna, however I couldn’t find any valuable information (only basic guidelines) about the design of  connecting a RFM69 to a chip antenna.

I wonder if someone could share such experience with me?

Thanks in advance
Robert

TomWS reported here about using a ceramic antenna with RFM69.
