Using Motino as a receiver for FineOffset WH1080 weather station?

I am looking at using a Motino as a receiver for a WH1080 station that I have.
Looking around the net, I found that some folks actually were able to build a
receiver / decoder using a Rasberry PI
Has anyone tried this with the Motino / RFM69 receiver?
I also saw the post regarding the
Davis sensor project by Scott216
Any tips?
Thanks!
