Getting started with SonarMote
« on: August 22, 2016, 10:32:44 PM »
Hi - This would be my first project of this type and Im trying to build the Sump Pump Monitor to save my basement :)  I am a ios, android, and web developer so well versed in coding, but no clue when it comes to this stuff.

The closest thing to instructions I could  find on the SonarMote is here https://lowpowerlab.com/sonarmote/  but I think that assumes I know what I'm doing..

Is there anything else out there that is like a getting started guide or something that walks through the various steps to getting it functional?   Things like how to setup wifi, how to install the image, etc.  Or do some instructions come with the SonarMote kit?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Brian

For now that's all there is, the page you already know and any related blog posts.
The gateway is a way to use the SonarMote and any other motes and host your own data/graphs on a Pi. But you can always use other services like adafruit.io i guess.
