Please look at the script, a lot of things will be very intuitive if you search for a function name you need more detail on.

Could it be your SD is corrupted or some hardware fault?
How about cloning the SD to another and trying booting with that? It's a long shot but it shouldn't take too long.

And sorry if I repeat the Q but are you sure you haven't done any updates for the Pi OS?
I can't imagine how this just stops out of the blue without anything touching it.
