Light Switch - not switching OFF by event

Thank you Felix for the detailed explanation and for the time trying to find the "problem" with my setup. Soon I'm planing to learn in more details java script programming and then I'll be able to manage the situation. Are you planing to make the events more advanced - not setting them only for hour intervals but for specific days of week and so on?

Perhaps, I thought of adding some scheduling controls, but honestly it's going to be a lot more work for an unknown amount of really useful functionality. Usually the lights that are kept on events are the outside lights, to light up the house at night. Turning lights ON-OFF in the house automatically is usually not desirable, except maybe when you're gone from home and want to appear to have some activity or things like that, still during the day inside lights are not visible.
Now of course switchmotes can control any AC load not just lights. So controlling say a fan or pump or some other AC appliance would probably be useful. But again, defining events is really easy in metrics.js and then it's really easy to enable/disable them in the UI.
