Gateway Pi Image

LaneF - I'm not sure if this can cause your problems, but the Pi image is due for an update. There are some missing node packages that I missed installing on that image. Notably nodemailer, console-log. They can be manually installed using "npm install _package_" but the image should just work. I hope to get that done today or tomorrow.

I'll try gurari's recommendations and if that fails, I'll wait for the latest and greatest image in a day or say and try again.

I know this is going to sound dumb but...

Every time I try to CD (cd ~/moteino/) in the gateway I get this response;

"-bash: cd: ~moteino/: No such file or directory"

The thing is, the "Tilty" "~" doesn't look like this "~" when I enter it from either of two keyboards now.  It looks like a character I never seen before .  See attached pic.

I just ran:
     sudo apt-get install console-common

I chose the PC-Standard US Keyboard from the dashboard

I ran:

    sudo reboot

I tried the tilde ~ symbol again and got the same strange little character in the pic I posted in the previous posting.

The source files have also been sync-ed up on Github.

I imagine you putting up with all these road blocks just to install this software means you actually like it at least a little bit. Or maybe you are about to discover how much you (dis)like it by using it
