recently I ordered some Moteino RFM95CW FCC+Shielded.
Also I have several old Moteino R6 RFM95 - without shield on radiomodule - they working in my env. all is ok with them.
I flashed new FCC moteino's with FW which I always use on the "old" moteino's.
but it turns out that they doesn't see each other - I send packets from old moteino to the new and it doesnt answer.
debugging via UART console also shows that new moteinos just waiting for requests and see nothing in radio broadcast when old moteino sending requests.
is it possible that they somehow not compatible?
That's strange because they are the same thing, minus the shield can, and I flash them with the same tester firmware before I pack them, and the testing receiver is a very old classic RFM95.
Are you sure all is the same?
Do the OLD RFM95 moteinos talk between them?
Do the NEW shielded RFM95CW moteinos talk between them?
Then the old and new should talk between them as well, if the same firmware/settings is used. Be sure to power cycle them to erase any register data retention if settings are somehow different between different flashings.
