Moteino R2 and R3

Hi

Can the Moteino R2 and R3 communicate through RF.

I have som Moteino R2 with 433 MHz radio and need som more, can I order Moteino R3 and get them to communicate with my old Moteino R2's? or should I order som more R2´s?

At this moment the libraries I have for R2 and R3 will not be able to communicate. This was something I hope someone will be able to research some more and contribute.
