MCT1703 3.0V regulator okay or not?

Hello,

I just built some Moteino R2 pcbs. I made the board from OSHPark and realized I populated it with MCT1703 3.0V regulators. Is that a problem or show stopper? I am not getting the avrdude stk500_getsync() error.  Got no scope at hand so can't tell if its the voltage or some soldering on the oscillator (real painful to do)...no other visible shorts on circuit board. Definitely getting the 3.0V from the regulator..wondering if that could be the problem...

It probably is ok, even though judging by what the datasheet says you're way out of spec if you're running at 16Mhz. Perhaps you can set the fuses for 8Mhz, otherwise you're really just grossly overclocking the atmega328p.
