Title: 'RFM69' does not name a type
Post by: Zeldatwili on October 30, 2014, 09:20:28 PM
Alright so I have the MotionMote kit all put together, plugged it into my computer, got the Arduino IDE, downloaded the motion sensor sketch, configured it, and put the RFM69.h file and the LowPower library in the same folder. When I run this though, i get this error:

Arduino: 1.0.6 (Windows 7), Board: "Arduino Uno"
MotionMote:73: error: 'RFM69' does not name a type
MotionMote.ino: In function 'void setup()':
MotionMote:82: error: 'radio' was not declared in this scope
MotionMote:82: error: 'RF69_868MHZ' was not declared in this scope
MotionMote:90: error: 'RF69_433MHZ' was not declared in this scope
MotionMote.ino: In function 'void loop()':
MotionMote:113: error: 'radio' was not declared in this scope
MotionMote:123: error: 'radio' was not declared in this scope
MotionMote:128: error: 'LowPower' was not declared in this scope
MotionMote:128: error: 'SLEEP_8S' was not declared in this scope
MotionMote:128: error: 'ADC_OFF' was not declared in this scope
MotionMote:128: error: 'BOD_OFF' was not declared in this scope

This is probably just some simple, easy to fix mistake

The RFM69 library has to be installed in your Arduino/libraries folder, see File > Preferences for location.
Also you should load Arduino stable v1.0.5.
