About LoRa CAD mode
« on: January 23, 2018, 08:18:07 AM »
Hi everyone! I'm new here.
I'm looking for a way to avoid collision and also save the power in LoRa.
The module I use is sx1276. And according the CAD flow in datasheet.
CAD mode will be done in standby mode. Start Rx after CAD detected.
Here's my thought and I don't know if that right or not.
The sensor nodes with LoRa will sleep in most of time.
Using CAD to judge if the gateway is calling itself.
Wake up MCU by other Dio pins and send the data back to gateway.
And then back to sleep or other mode waiting for next CAD detect.
I'm not sure about CAD mode is have to working in standby mode or not.
The goal is make it as saving power as possible and avoid collision.
Did anyone achieve the CAD before?
Thnaks!
