Wireless programming compatibility issue

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to update some moteinos wirelessly but they keep timing out. The node handshake is fine, the . I know the code is correct to allow wireless programmability and I've updated those same Moteinos before sometime last Summer so the method I'm using is correct. I wonder if the newer arduino libraries are incompatible with the old ones. There was a major update done to the libraries on August 13th (http://lowpowerlab.com/blog/2014/08/13/library-updates-mega-support/). I've switched computers and don't have access to the old libraries to test. If it is a compatibility issues, does anyone happen to have the old libraries to flash the gateway with? I could then flash the nodes with the new library and use the updated libraries to create an updated gateway for future updates.

Just to rule out any Wireless Programming issues I flashed a Moteino with the WirelessProgramming_gateway and another with the WirelessGateway_node and was able to flash the node wirelessly without issues.

Am I going down the right path to solve this issue?

Thanks,
Ric

Felix

Ric,
First I would ask if you could make sure you have all the latest libraries (RFM69, SPIFlash, WirelessHEX69) and also the latest wireless programming sketches.
There were changes in the last year and without digging into code to find any difference I think its easier to just update the libs and all the nodes involved, then we know if there's any issue with the latest code (it should not since all was tested before release). If you have a problem with the stock code or any of the wirelessly programmable sketches let us know.
