UV sensor experience

Anyone out there have any experience with UV sensors?  I just picked up the Sparkfun UV sensor to add to my weather station and I'm looking for something to cover it to protect it outdoors.  From everything I've been reading most glass and plastic products filter or block some or both of the UV-A or UV-B rays.

If anyone has any recommendations for something to protect the sensor without blocking what I want to monitor I would appreciate it.

Not all glass is the same in that respect: https://www.pgo-online.com/intl/katalog/quartz-glass.html

Looks like ebay sells it pretty cheap.

Let us know what you pick and whether you like it or not.

I found the perfect material but it costs $745 per sheet, and I need like a 2"x2" square!

Every online manufacturer I found has to custom order it and get quotations for pricing.  They're probably not interested in selling me one tiny sheet.

I'm looking for a cheap alternative to OP-1 or OP-4 acrylic.
