Hi ,

I found this a few days ago :

It looks nice , I cannot wait to see some products using it !

Would you need long range, how about two way comm, would it be battery powered for long time? How often would be data send?
if not, there are still better tech. then this

This is just the transceiver chip, some modules would need to be made by someone (hopeRF?) and then someone else would need to invest the time to write and test libs etc.
Seems like a lot of the RF stuff is similar to the SX1276 chips on the existing LoRa modules?

it seems the product line will be released in march . I'm pretty sure our Chinese friends are already working on new boards for sx126x...
The protocol/registers will be probably the same than current Lora products. It's in their best interest for an effective integration of the new line.
Personally  , 4.6mA (almost 50% less) and 20% of added range could improve a lot energy management for bidirectional communication!
