Connctor suggestions

I have a project in mind to monitor my water heater for leaks.  A few years ago, the original water heater sprung a leak and fortunately I discovered the leak soon after it happened.  I would like o put one of these sensors under the water heater: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rain-Water-Level-Sensor-Module-Depth-Of-Detection-Liquid-Surface-Height-Arduino-/271657864026
My plan is to put the Moteino and anything else I will need in a small project box and run a three conductor wire out of the box to the sensor.  Does anyone have any suggestions for a connector I could use on the box so I can easily connect/disconnect the sensor wire from the box?

I would use one of these dupont wires (male - female to extend them easily), they are pretty cheap, then split it in multiple 1x3 that you can connect the ends together to make extend a long cable. I did that with my garage parking sensor (sensor is at bumper level, RGB 4x cable LED is at windshield level with these kinds of cables in between.

Thanks Felix.  I have some of those that I have used for other purposes.  I was thinking about something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Micro-Mini-JST-Connector-1-5mm-3-pin-w-Wire-x-10-sets-/151334550789?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item233c3dfd05 but something I could easily mount to the side of a project box.  Does something like that exist?

I don't know exactly what you mean, when it doesn't exist invent it or improvise, hot glue works wonders
