USB dagatogging frequency
« on: June 29, 2020, 07:08:27 AM »
Hi guys,

I want to plot the measures of the serial monitor when I send the "u" character. The problem is in the sampling frequency of the usb logging mode. I have various values per timestamp:

13:07:09.186 -> 50.68e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 49.07e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 56.31e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 56.31e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 67.57e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 54.30e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 51.48e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 49.47e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 49.87e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 49.87e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 55.10e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 47.86e-6
13:07:09.186 -> 59.12e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 60.73e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 49.87e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 54.70e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 61.54e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 60.33e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 66.76e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 59.12e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 53.89e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 56.71e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 63.15e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 62.34e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 49.87e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 43.04e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 49.47e-6
13:07:09.221 -> 51.88e-6
13:07:09.254 -> 49.07e-6
13:07:09.254 -> 48.67e-6
13:07:09.254 -> 54.30e-6

I have thought about doing a relative time stamp with excel, but I don't know every story the CR prints a measure.

How often does the CR print?

Thnaks!

I haven't measured it, but recent firmware changes were aiming at improving switching and logging time speed.
It depends on what the CR does during measurements. Ex it will take a bit longer if it updates the OLED as well.

Okey Thanks Felix!  It would be very interesting to be able to directly export an excel!

Definitely!
I have yet to see a microcontroller than can do that!
