I posted a short illustrated guide for making your own Moteino from SMD components. It also includes details how to burn the bootloader and fuses. Check it out here. Thanks and credit goes to forum user LukaQ for his contribution of the images and test sketches in this guide!

Nice job!
Could you also post the BOM?
It’s already on github. I updated the link to make it more obvious.
Cool! Are you able to hand-solder 0603 parts comfortably? I normally use 0805, but have been thinking about stepping down to 0603 for my next project.
Yes 0603 is easy, 0402 is a little challenging. I avoid 0805 or larger because they take too much PCB space.
Any chance to have Moteino R6 version board files published?
Sure, I just posted the R6 design files 😀
Please blog/share your work with these files and spread the word about Moteino as a form to give back!
I’ll try to build a few Moteinos as soon as the Olimex AVR programmer arrives to me.
I already post links to Moteino and LowPowerLab on forums whenever I have the opportunity 😉
You did a great work Felix!!!!
Great guide. Maybe you can try to use reflow ove.
Here is reflow demo in 20$ toaster oven:

Awesome, I hope you dont mind I shared it on my YT channel:
