I’ve been talking about a new gateway interface for a while in the forum. I will release more details and the source code soon. Here’s an overview that I’ve put together the past week, and some screenshots below with graphs and other available features:

This content will be updated and improved on the dedicated Moteino Gateway page where all the source code and details will be published.
Wow. Felix, this looks great.
Can’t wait to try it.
Amazing work, hope you have the best of success… I want to build one now… 🙂
Wow, excellent work, Felix! That really ties the Motes together and is easy to configure and manage. I look forward to trying it out. Again, well done!
It looks pretty cool but I just don’t know why you are so against already built systems like OpenHAB, versa, etc.. I know you’ve said security concerns and what not but there are easy ways to secure those systems and they have tons of other prebuilt integrations. I have my gateway talking to my RPi over serial to openHAB. works like a charm. Maybe I’ll outline my setup and my sketches + rules on the forums.
I just threw a few things up on Github. I have a switchmote too but that code is a cluster right now.

Thanks for your thoughts. There are many ways of doing things, you should use whatever works and saves you the most time and gives you the best experience.
I started coding one afternoon and couldn’t stop. This is the result.
This looks like another excellent piece of work from you, and one will look forward to using.
One question or very minor point, can you customize the icons or add your own for your own projects?
Surely, I will provide a pack of example icons and you can add/define your own if you’d like.
I’m anxiously waiting for the release of the gateway dashboard. I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time!
This looks very good; nice work! Have you considered using something like Node-RED for the “rules” engine?
Thanks. Not really, I just wanted my own design and I can do almost anything with a few lines of code, which is the same case with Node-Red where anything custom requires a function node.
Hi Felix!
I’ve found a neat demo page; the guy is using Primus and MQTT for updating the page:
