GarageMote is a garage door controller shield kit for Moteino that can be used to remotely control a garage door from anywhere on the web or from your smartphone. There are commercial solutions that offer the same thing, but are more integrated with the opener. This solution requires assembly and also installing this device on your garage opener.

By purchasing GarageMote you agree that you are solely responsible for the proper installation and usage of GarageMote.

What you get:

• 1 x GarageMote PCB
• 2 x unipolar hall effect sensors - they will detect any magnet pole (easier to use)
• 1 x Relay
• 1 x Diode
• 2 x 10k 1/4 watt resistors
• 1 x Right angled button
• 1 x 2.1mm jack
• 1 x 40 pin female header
• 1 x 40 pin male header
• 16-18" 8-wire CAT5 cable
• shrink tubing for magnet sensors
• 2 x thin strong rare earth magnets (size may vary but ~20x10x2mm)
• velcro tape for mounting GarageMote to your opener, and magnets to your opener belt

• The kit does NOT include: 
  • a Moteino
  • power supply - you may use any used phone charger or wall wart that supplies 5V-9V. You can also use/buy one like this that has a 2.1mm jack which mates with the provided 2.1mm jack.
